I am getting about 300 daily hits at my amazon associates links through my blogs, websites, twitter recommendation and facebook follower but there is no sale yet while I am getting this data from almost last 30 days.

    What is the problem ??
Anyone getting sales from their links ??

Any suggestion or recommendation for the peoples like in the same condition ??

You would expect some conversions from that level of traffic. Have you registered all your sites in your amazon account settings? I believe they will not pay out on sales that come from sites not included in your account.

In my experience, simply putting links on a page isn't going to generate sales. There needs to be a motivation for people to read your page and take action.

What are you doing to get people to take an action?

I have always taken the approach of "solving problems". Here's an example.

Modern cars have plastic headlight lenses. After a few year in the sun, plastic headlight lenses get yellow and cloudy. Replacing them costs $300 to $600. That's a problem!

With a little research, I discovered the solution is to polish the plastic. If it's really bad, you may need to sand it first with super-fine sand paper, then polish. But wait... on Amazon I found close to a dozen kits. Problem solved.

Want to see how simple the selling site is? http://headlightrestorationkit.net/

This one site gets 2-3 sales a day and it's only 1 month old. I have a huge inventory of problem solving sites that generate thousands of Amazon sales every month. No auto blogging BS... real, helpful sites.

I don't think 300 hits is really that much and if you want to convert that 300 hits at least for 1%, needs a lot of hard work in my experience.

Someone saying just by putting link will not works for Amazon and some one suggested writing product review.
I am trying on writing product review, so far not much movement... still trying. Perhaps some experts can give some solid advice.

acccording to darren rows from problogger.net said that he started sales of amzon associates when was already linked about 2000 + links in his posts and left as forget about but when visitors started search and search regularly got helpful links that was recommendation from him and get started revenue from the same.

Then it proves even linking may be helpful to get sales from amazon but I think there is more need of targeted traffic who will give some time on those linkings.

I made my first sale in first week and earned 25$ (4%).

Would you buy a camera from a site that describes it and tells you something or from a site that has crappy, or no content and just has an Amazon link.

Yes, reviews for tech- stuff are probably the best. I have earned 120$ this month and I'm in dslr (camera) niche. Don't make all posts filled with Amazon links. Show your visitors that it's not all about money because you need to do this with passion and they will see that there is none if it's made for money. I place a text-link to Amazon at the beginning and say something attracting about the product and then post an image-text link at the bottom.

300 hits daily is enough for Amazon. I get about 50-150 hits daily and my conversion rate jumps from 1.5 to 5%. You need to be unique. It's what attracts people.

Try looking at your visitors as if you visited your site. Why the hell would they buy from you?

Blogfiliate, I like your site and you probably make money like you say, But wondering how it makes money being on the second page of google? I have several blogs that sell products and are on the first page and some #1 on google and yahoo but no sales, just pretty good traffic. Some are new sites selling amazon products in posts and wigets on the side. I even have CJ ads on some and get clicks but no sales. 1000's of comments but I am including that amount as a total in 66 websites I have. Trying to figure all this out. I have been running websites for years. Thanks

Benchrest, good question. Thanks for asking.

First, let me smack around the notion that domain name key word search is the only way to get traffic. It isn't. Yes, it's true that if you search "headlight restoration kit" my site comes up on the top of page two on Google, #1 on Yahoo, and #5 or 6 on Bing.

If that was the only way people searched I would be worried.

The fact is I get most of my search traffic from post titles answering other questions, like "cloudy headlights cleaner?". The secret is to create as many posts as possible matching what people my enter in Google search. In time, as Google begins to trust your site, you build backlinks, etc., then you will rank for the primary search phrase.

The above comment is misleading. You don't have to register all the sites in your account to earn any referral on any sale from each site. The only thing needed is the registered site and the affiliate link can be placed on any site you choose.

Where is your traffic coming from? Is it good quality, qualified people? Or are they basically tricked into clicking?
