Catholics claim they are not idol-worshippers, but if you look at all the statues, shrines, saints, relics etc. ( I live in a catholic country, we've got tons of these things) , it kinda looks like they are. If a person prays to a saint for a miracle, isn't it worshiping the actual saint? If someone believes that touching a relic will heal them, isn't it worshiping the actual relic? Other christian denominations use some of the same symbols (the cross, etc) but they don't place the same value on them as catholics, and they sure don't pray to a saint. Don't mean to offend anyone, I'm not religious myself, just participating in the discussion...
