    Hi,

I am constructing my website on my home computer. Whenever I browse my webpage the impression is added to my google impression count. Is that OK? or do I need to inform Google about that?

I never clicked on any ads. I just want to know about the impressions.

    Thanks in advance.

You can temporarily disable ads untill you finish your work. Or use "test" as publisher id for testing purposes.

you can put "XXXXXXXXX" as a publisher id, if you want to test it. its should work fine. i have done it my self. try it.

but even if you use your own id, its ok. as long as you don't click the ads.

Impressions dont raise eyebrows, only clicks :)
As someone said, disable the ads or just ensure you dont click on them.
I use a firewall which disables the ads when Im developing sites.

It really doesn't matter, as long as you don't generate thousands of impressions, or click your own ads.

I constantly go to my own sites. Mainly to see if they are up.

Those impressions are perfectly fine. They will lower your CTR, but if your sites have any decent traffic it would be minimal.

Nop. Impressions also count as long as not many, then no problem...

The site isnt up, all the impressions would be from the publisher, so it may affect adversely. Your impressions will not make any difference only if they are not a significant part of the totals. It is always better to not take ANY risk with your adsense, use "test" (as told by Google) as publisher id or just disable the ads temporarily. Its not that difficult at all then why take any risk?

You can check your page as many times as you want. But, not refresh.

He's saying you can view the site, but don't click the "refresh" or "reload" button. As everyone has said though, the bottom line is DON'T CLICK YOUR OWN ADS!!:)
