I saw today when I bought a domain that the only payment options available were: - Credit card - Another thing with credit card I don't remember - Check Why did they no longer use paypal ? Or it was just an error ?
I think they are showing only credit card while they are having the $0.99c domain special offer for .com, .net. org new domains & transfers.

That's just because of their promo offer ( which is automatically applied to all domains ) - use coupon code to get PayPal ( it'll remove automatically assigned promo which can be bought only via CC ).
Well, I used Paypal at Godaddy yesterday....even got a nice discount using a GoDaddy promo code... Please check again or try to contact their support if you are still facing the same problem.
forget godaddy and switch to "pm me for name" - why pay to resell thats crazy! I affiliate at "pm me for name" and make pretty easy money monthly - no fees to be an affiliate and unlimited storage, domains, emails, and bandwidth + 25 mysql DB. I also know the way to get the large hosting package at $3.95 per month - so basically you can open a new account, pay $47.40 and make $100 on the sale - thus giving you a free site for the year +++ plus a profit of $52.60. Or 2 years of free hosting and $5.20 profit. I think their marketing department is on crack but - its easy money - especially if you have new clients or are thinking of switching.
I also used paypal from godaddy beore 2 days... I am not aware about the current situation... may be there will a problem.... Hope it will solve out soon ...
I have same problem too.. But i figured it out.. If you used the coupon code 1.99 we must buy with cc or dc and etc.. But not paypal
