I signed up for direct deposit the day it became available, and my next payment will come via direct deposit. Now that I think about it though, it kind of makes me sad that I won't have a check coming with nice numbers on it. It always felt cool that I could do stuff on the internet, and then a check would show up in the mail. Now that it is all electronic, it has kind of lost some of its excitement. Anybody going to stop getting checks from Clickbank soon?
Well.. then switch back to Check .. simple as that! It's convinient getting your money directly to your bank account, but there's a great feeling when you get your check in the mail, it feels better. Seeing the hard-earned check and taking it to the bank with pride!
I'm sticking with the check for the time being, I actually have a mailing address for another month and I like to go to the bank. Probably once I head back to Alaska and then Montana I will go direct deposit until I get an address again.
Nothing wrong with checks, I still receive them and have no plans of changing anytime soon. I enjoy getting out to the bank and depositing checks and often deposit 4 -5 at one time, no big hassle and it gets me off the computer
I got direct deposit because I'm in college - & away from home & bank account. Getting checks are nice - when I recieve a huge commission month - I'll request a check to impress my parents lol.
I agree with ExpertForumGuy. It's cool to have a check to impress someone with but other than that direct deposit is a lot more convenient. Today I tried to deposit a check I got from Andrew Fox in British Pounds. Washington Mutual said they couldn't accept it. Direct Deposit, wire transfer, and paypal are just more convenient.
nah checks suck especially when one gets lost in the mail! With direct deposit at least you know your having money come in
Yeah, I guess my money is a little less secure when coming as a check in the mail, I never thought of it that way.
some people (like me) still like to check their mailbox every morning and say "YES!" when you get your check...I find it almost as enjoyable as making the money itself.
Hopefully the minute I become eligible, I will gladly signup for direct deposit! The check ceremonies are over for me!
Receiving a check just takes up time...then i have to go deposit it. I'd rather be writing an article and making more $$$ with that time
Personally I would love to receive direct deposit would make things much more convenient but they won't pay my in us dollars b/c I'm Canadian, well b/c its a Canadian bank located in Canada. So its still checks for me I just put a high threshold.
For you non US direct depositers do they charge a higher conversion rate when switching over to your currency?

No its the same conversion rate its just b/c the Canadian dollar is so high and the US is so low I'm saving my clickbank funds in US dollar account for when it rises. When this happens I will probably switch to direct deposit.
