    Private banks like ICICI and others get their major chunk of profits from credit cards, if they stop issuing credit cards then they will have to shut down their shutters, ICICI still issues credit cards but their service is downgraded and their executives are rude

    They might have stopped VCC and not CCs.

    No bank can ever stop CC. Thatz where banks earn revenue.
