No More AdWords UK Phone Support!

Previously, whenever I had a little problem with my AdWords account or campaigns, I would fire off a little phone call to AdWords support. My problem would be dealt with in no time.

A few days ago, I tried calling the same number that I had grown to depend on. To my horror, a message told me to click on "Help" in my account for troubleshooting, before the phone went dead!

I emailed AdWords, telling them that there's a problem with their phone support service. They responded by telling me that AdWords phone support for UK and Ireland customers has been discontinued indefinitely! We now have to wait for stupid email responses.

    That sucks, dude. :(

Yes, I know. It asks you to push '2' and enter your customer ID. It then tells you to click 'Help' in your account, which is really stupid. Why ask for a cutomer ID, then tell the customer to click on 'Help' in their account?

    When? Today?

UK phone support was only available during week days, not weekends. You could not have called anyone today, even if the phone support system was still active.

There is no more phone support. Here are their exact words:

    "Hello *****,

Thank you for your email. I apologize for the inconvenience this has
caused you but we no longer offer phone support. As of now, we don't have
a third party who provides our advertisers with phone support. I assure
you , we will do our best to answer your questions and support via email.
I have addressed your concern below."

If you're saying that you can still get phone support, even on weekends, then Google must think that you're a very special person. They must have set up a special phone support service just for you, which is even available on weekends.

i talked to them on friday i posted on this thread Yesterday, 5:18 pm so why do you think i called over the weekend?

i just called them to make sure im 100% right and they ask me to leave a message so a ad rep can contact me, phone support works. you have a attitude problem and wont get any where in life talking to people like that.

I don't see how that was possible. If it's true, then I must be going mad. I tried calling them all last week. In the end, I got annoyed and emailed them, and they replied with the quote that I presented above. Why would they say that they no longer provide support if they do? And why couldn't I get through?

I was just being sarcastic, man. Chill.

It appears Google is discontinuing its phone support in favor of email support. In North America, this seems to have started over a month ago.

Yep, looks like us in the UK are catching up now. At least the account reps haven't stopped taking calls too - now that would be really bad

We have an Adwords account for a long time I mean years and we use it without any problems. I never contacted Google support.) I know that if there is a problem it is better if you would contact the rep directly by calling him then wait for an email.
