you really have to wait at least 30-45 days to see how well AA will work for you. It took me just over 30 days to start seeing around $10/day average - waiting is the secret to making money with Auction Ads ..
I gave it about a month. 291 clicks generated $7.14 I would have given it a longer trial, but the site was very unstable... when the site was down the ads didn't load it hung up my web pages from loading.
u made more than me... 483 clicks after 1 week, still not made anything from them... I am still running them tho... so lets hope the waiting game is true....
I will be giving it about 1 - 2 months, but if the site stays unstable then I will be taking it down before then as I would prefer to earn less from a program that is more stable rather than earning from a program that isn't stable even if it pays more.
What you need to do is place your AuctionAds inside of an IFRAME http://www.ryanjparker.net/placing-auctionads-inside-of-an-iframe-for-better-website-performance/
That how I have my cpm flash ads. Atleast if the ads doens't load then your page with the main content will still load by using an iframe for the ads.
I am pretty sure the Javascript DOES put them in an I-frame. I see you added a similar comment to your post. Occasionally, when the AA server does not manage to serve up an ad, you can see the i-frame with the scrollbars and the Not Found message. Though perhaps if the iframe is in the code on YOUR page it might make a difference...
Seems like sound advice - I have only just started getting some serious clicks. If I understand correctly you do not usually see the revenue from a sale on the day the click happened, right? So it is possible to have 100 impressions, 3 clicks and 0 revenue one day and then 100 impressions, 0 clicks and $5 in 3 days time, right? I.e. it's not like Adsense, there are various delays - the cookie thing makes sense too.
right, you do not see the revenue for a few days (at least).. FYI - i get thousands of clicks per day for the $10 i'm averaging..
Yeah, I realized that I made a false assumption. It just keeps your page loading quickly when AuctionAds is slow or (gasp) down.
You must be targeting people that want to buy iPods. (yes, that was a small jab at large amount of targeting issues AA is having)
My guess with that is, if it doesn't "manage" to serve up an ad with your keyword in time (maybe a server timeout issue?) it dishes up an iPod ad - everyone loves iPods, right? They could probably change it so it would be babies' nappies or curtain rails, but they're not as sexy.
I run Auction Ads for about one week on some of my sites with about 10,000 ad impressions. No one bought, and so I got no money. But the negative is that my Adsense money decreased. That's bad. Jim credit-card-faq.com
