No mention of drupal?

I am interested to see no mention of drupal on the front page. Everything is joomla and drupal. Any reason for this? I think drupal is a fine cms and I've worked with many both open source and huge enterprise level.

Really? I found it suprisingly easy to make a great site without having to do any coding other than templating.

I started using Drupal knowing virtually nothing about commercial websites, etc. I had it up and running in less than a day, was making simple customizations within a few weeks, and very successful after less than six months..

I would say there is very little/no learning curve for a moderately intelligent adult.

I agree with Randy, Drupal is fairly easy to learn once you start. You can have your site up and running within a very short time. The drupal website has some site recipes to get you started, there are also a bunch of useful video tutorials on youtube, see some of them here.

You can also find a series of tutorials on how to build a Drupal website from scratch here.

I'm very much with you 2 guys, I've found is lightyears ahead of joomla and other similar programs and shivver when people say its too complex...that said, Drupal could do with a bit of a face lift in terminology - nodes for example.....who wants to talk about nodes, noone.

There really is no learning curve. I know no php and only some html and got it working very quickly

They both have learning curves, but I think that drupal is a bit easier to get started once you 'roll up your sleeves' and dive in. (I've been spending three years trying to figure out Joomla.)

I also think that Joomla seems more friendly. They seem to have the marketing down pretty well.

But for actual usefulness, I wouldn't give up Drupal for Joomla.
