No longer smartpriced

    Hello,

I was smartpriced for about 2 weeks, was earning terrible money, something like 1-3 cents per click. I had 3 ad blocks on my site and the two blocks that were getting the most clicks had this shitty MFA ads on them all the time. But I also noticed that my least clicked ad had this great ads, like saxobank forex ad and stuff like that.

So what I did was first block out all the MFA urls in competitive filter. It was about 10 MFA sites, than I started to get better ads and slightly better payment.

The second thing I did was replace the best paying asense block (the one with the least clicks) with some other banner (not adsense). Result was that the good ads now moved to the blocks with better click-through. So now I am making the normal amount again, I am no longer smartpriced.

So I am earning more with less adsense on my site.

    1. you can see by shitty domain names they have. Usually use .info or the kind of domain I would never use for a site
    2. you look at the url on bottom of advertising and just type in in your browser and see what you get

All you need to do is type in the url of their website, dont click on it cause that'll get you banned, and then look for ads or crappy content. if the website looks mfa then just block it. the majority of advertisers in my market pay low, with about 10% of them paying good. so i blocked out all the bad websites, problem solved.

I'm not sure if you were smartpriced, because usually when that happens, ALL of your ads are low-paying. Your site was probably just showing a lot of bad ads, so all you needed to was filter them out.

Nonetheless, good job for finding a way out of low CPC. :)

That happens sometimes to me, but it passes. I really don't do anything about it
