    Your Link has Been Rejected!

I got a rejection notice from a PR0 directory because my PR is zero. :D

Interesting concept - rejecting a submission because there's no PR according to some PR tool.

I took a closer look at the directory:

    Registered Oct. 2005
    PageRank: Nada, zero, zilch.
    Google Cache: Nope
Google Site search: Zero, nada, zilch - no pages indexed.

Never saw a rejection that said that!

Obviously a directory not to submit to.

Name it so I can avoid it.

Now I have received rejections before that state something to the tune of
"I don't like your site in my directory".
Those I answer back, no problem, I don't like your site in my directories, so I am making sure it is in none of them. If so, I will delete now.

Heck, I do that will all my rejections!

Why do people submit their directories to mine (or yours) and expect it to be accepted when they turn down my directory submission to theirs?

Was that the dir that was *requiring* a pr4 WITH a reciprocol in order to be included for free (e.g. NOT free hahaha)?

    Rob

edit: more importantly, what type of design did it use? a FREE one? lol
    or something custom made?

These people with these bulls*t reciprocal directories just don't seem to get it. I go to a directory to get one-way links, not a friggin' link exchange. You want a little cash for a permanent listing. Fine. That's why I came to you. You want me to give you a PR4+ link, to get listed on a PR1 page. You are on crack!

Also, I can't seem to think of any recip directory that seemed to be doing all that well. Just an observation.

    hahaha. yes i agree.

I do take into account some stuff like whether it's one of the free 20 designs available that ohh i say about 20,000 directories use, or if they have some sort of incentive and custom design.

By taking in those factors, I then deduct whether or not it's worth with to me.

I can say this though, my next directory (I will allow free links, but you've already seen the code i put in place for those hahah, and they will only be there for an alloted 30 days trial, afterwhich, they get the boot!)
I want dump to be amongst the best of the best, and a lot is going into it. ;)
    ^^shameless plug :p

I delete site for repetitive keyword stuffing or bad grammar in descriptions. I ban sites for being affiliates that don't list physical locations in the contact us pages. Also ban poorly made MFA sites, the good MFAs I keep.

This will keep your directories nice and clean.

Good point. If I can't find some substantial contact information on a Business or Shopping site, deleted. :)

It's also a good idea to google the telephone provided or the adress and if it is a shopping site I will add one item to the cart and try to check out to see if it redirects me an affiliate shop.

On topic: To reject a site simply it has no PR makes no sense to me, there are quality new sites being made everyday, plus there are plenty of MFA sites that have good PR because of interlinking, does this mean that they will be accepted just because they have PR?

what's a person supposed to do with a pr0 site and no one wants to trade? Where do you submit? I'm looking for true websites, and not link farms.

***Update*** never mind, I should have read your sigs :p sorry
