No index & Analytics question

    If I use <meta name="robots" content="noindex" /> on my site, to be sure I don't get indexed by google and stuff, but also 'install' Google Analytics (for future use and to see who's direct linking), will Google index me because I have Analytics installed (even though I have a noindex meta)?

    Thanks in advance.

    I can't tell you for sure, but I think google won't index yours website

    Also you can create a "robots.txt" file, and disallow access of crawler robots to yours root directory and all files in it.

    Google won't index your site as long as your robots.txt file tells it not too for your "/" (root) directory.

    <meta name="robots" content="noindex" />
    This is the final word for Google, whatever else tell any other story. So if you have this in your header, then Google will never you show up in its searches for sure. But, it is said, whether you install or don't install Google Analytics, Google will always index your pages and will notice what's going on. But will never show you up in its search results pages due to that meta tag.
