No Increase In Backlinks, Indexed Pages or Traffic

"I tried that link|mysite.com command and it shows more backlinks."

Where did anyone get the idea that this is showing backlinks? Is this from Google?

When I do 'link|www.mysite.com', it returns all pages that contain 'www.mysite.com' the majority of which are my site. When I google 'www.mysite.com -asdfasdfs' it returns the exact same results. That should be a clue that this has nothing to do with backlinks.

 

It is not backlinks.... it is total links..... it is how many webpages have your domain on them whether it is in the background or foreground of the website.

It is also used for placing your website in the SERPs. As I saw that number going up so did my ranking in the SERP's meanwhile the link: number never went up... in fact, it went down.

 

How can I find a backlink? Anybody can help me?
Where can I find a counter that shows how many backlinks there are to my site or other sites I have checked on google and I can't find any anywere.

It's not always accurate, but you can get a good idea of who is linking to you.
