I agree with you its morally wrong to write a student's term paper or do their other homework. Do you honesty think some of the teachers (no offense to person who previously said they're a teacher), doctors and lawyers wrote every single one of their term papers while in college? Certainly not some of them. This behavior patten in students is not something new which all of suddenly just popped up out of the blue its been going on for years. Brush them off and move on.

Wow, i'm no better then your scam artists too. I wrote an article about sailing cruise schooners, but i've never seen these schooners even.
Hm, I'd like to know your writing topic is about. Sorry, but i think a price is for you too. I don't know how much you cost, but you do. Homework for 75 cents for 100 words is a bad idea, homework for 10 bucks for 100 words is great idea, isnt?

This argument is why I avoid certain types of work - money or not. There is plenty to be made in this industry without compromising personal or professional ethics...

Obviously you do. I guess I was the smart kid...

Can't speak for all of the teachers in the world (obviously), but this one wrote all of her own work. I also attended all of my classes unless I was legitimately sick and passed every single one of them all by myself - apparently this is quite shocking in our modern times. :p No offense taken, by the way.

I find that lumping everyone together into a category (everyone overeats when they are stressed!) makes it feel better for me to engage in behavior I know isn't right. I think this is the case here based on a few different responses - if "everyone" is doing it, it must be alright for you to do it, too. Bandwagon anyone?

Everyone has different values, but researching and compiling information as a list of tips and points, even if you haven't engaged in that particular activity yourself is a bit different than writing something that is a blatant lie in hopes of deluding other people. You can offer advice without lying about your own activities - this is the nature of expository essays and research. I didn't live through the Russian Revolution, but I can certainly gather information about it and draw my own conclusions - that's an expository work. If I claim to have lived through the revolution thanks to a wonderful new cream that magically teleports me through time while cleansing my colon and eliminating all wrinkles at the same time, I'm either writing a comedy piece and making it obvious or I'm participating in fraud. It's a fine line sometimes, but I set guidelines for myself that I can live with. Mine are likely different from everyone else out there, but I'd recommend setting standards you can live with, and only you know what those are.

Lot's of thoughts here. But this will continue as long as people are willing to provide such services. If people do not provide this services, people will call it a hot untapped market and cash in on the opportunity

I'm going to make some clarifications on my stance here as there seems to be confusion.

    1. Making false statements about a product (even more so medical products) in order to sell it is often a crime. Some of these products are also harmful to people - not something I want to get involved in.

    2. People should do their own homework. If you need help thats what study groups are for. Hiring people to do your work is despicable.

Yes, I have researched things im not knowledgeable about - but im also not going to blatantly lie to get someones product sold. Theres a big difference between writing a review of a TV that you never owned and basing the review off from a large amount of other reviews and telling someone how to get a bigger package or to go get the colon flushed (both of which are crap science)
