I just read a post we here someone said there has been no Google PR update since April. I haven't really paid attention to the PR on my sites for a while, so I have no idea.

    Is this true?

No Major update. But minor updates are occurring with normal frequency.

PR is no longer proportional to your SERPs. Many of sites having ZERO PR are doing quite good at some competitive keywords.

no pr update for me since april, but google is completely going crazy.
Too much google dance, I see crap websites with 10 backlinks and only 1 page content on first page, I have 700 and more than 300 pages and it push me on second page or let me disappear for a couple of days from the SERP...what the hell is going on!!!

It's true, but I wouldn't worry about the update that much, I would just keep working on my websites and whenever the google update happens it happens.

How to know about the PR of our site? If we keep on searching the pages of the Google search, can we come to a conclusion about the PR of our site? PRs tend to change in course of time. Aren't they so?

If you dont want your sites PR to change, keep backlinks from high PR sites.By this way your sites PR will remain stable and will not change :)
