I think its been confirmed in the huge PR update thread that the PR update is a sampling of what was accurate from July 21-25. So when you say two months everything you did in September and August will not show up as a benefit. I'm in the same boat so hopefully we'll both see a big jump next update.

Also note its unusual that the update took data from two moths ago usually the data is around 4 weeks old.

That info helped explain why my PR didn't increase since I'd been spending Sept getting links. Hopefully it explains your situation.

how valuable were the links that you got for your website? Did the sites, you buy links from, have lots and lots of links on them?

I think you can get PR 4 easily without having to get paid links at all. I just wrote an article about this that you might be interested in reading...

PR 5 for your new site in a few months...

A good answer, even though such girls, usually, make you more money spent tha earned (transposed to the physical practice). I liked you point very much.

    Thank you :)

As a few people mentioned before, the links must be really new, so Google might not be considering them yet.

Also, are these links lifetime links or have you bought them for a few months only? Because if they are removed, you wont be able to see any PR changes.

Google is intelligent enough to filter out links from high PR pages and sites, as they could be paid links. As you mentioned in your first post, you collected most of these paid links in the last 2-3 months. So keep them there for a little longer and then see the results :)

I have one site where that predictor shows half of the dc as pr 0 and half as pr 4, does that mean it is moving? It is a new site, so I am thinking from a 0 to a 4.

Don t take those links off, be patient and wait another one or two PR rotations and you will get a good PR
