I have seen ads on download pages where there is like a header explaining the downloads. What is a non-content page?
I have seen, you have seen, everyone has seen sites, pages, that have nothing on them but adsense. So only google would have the answer as to what actually constitutes a no-content page. Or maybe google does not care? Or maybe google allows them, then when it comes time to pay out, they ban the user account? I have a thought that no one in google really knows what is going on.
So I could work really hard on building a quality site and google can be like BAM, I'm not paying you?
if you work hard on building a quality site, then i doubt very much you will have non-content pages, but as iowadawg says, yes, this can always happen
I mean you will have no content pages. Like if you look at my test site below. The don't ask link. If you click Bookmarks you will see a list of site....is this content? This page does not have content IMHO ----> http://www.proxyz.be/
No, just build a single test page and ask Google instead of DP. I did. I made a page that had only 1 image and like 3 words. I asked google to look at the page as I was intending on making a huge gallery that way. They said it was fine as far as content, but I might not get relevant ads (but I do). Now I have no fear of building and having any problems with google later.
I was concerned because I use PHPBB and have the advert placed in my overall header .tmp file (meaning it appears on every page viewed). I contacted support at Google who informed me that I am 100% within the T&C. So I guess the answer is yes, G can do as they like. I would be carefull about building a test page and asking them as the T&C also state that sites must not be built purely to accommodate adsense!
I build a test page with no adsense and ask google if I could add the ads to that type of page with no problems. They responded within hours, and then I added the adsense. I would not put AdSense on a test page and then ask, as you may break TOS by doing it that way.
Ah got you now I thought it was a bit odd. Also odd that Google accepted a page with a picture and only 3 words, as that is against their TOS as well damn Gooooogle
