    Hello guys according to me Google counts no-follow link as back link but won't give value to it. If you want to increase search engine ranking then you should go for do-follow link. Through this you can increase your site's back link and traffic as well.

    If you are negotiating a link from a website that uses the no follow tag you should walk away from the negotiation and spend your time getting better links. Some online news outlets practice no follow on all outbound links. If that is the case I suggest not contributing to their content because they will not count your link and therefor it is not worth the effort.

    NoFollow link will never be counted as backlinks in Google only Do Follow links. NoFollow links are good for traffic and not for backlinks.
