No Follow or Dofollow..?

hi everybody

google and yahoo counts no follow link as a backlink or not...I am too much confused..help me

 

No follow links does not count as back links but need to build few links as no follow for nature links.

Hi there, DoFollow and NoFollow - both are outgoing links, however, with NoFollow you clearly tell the Google bot NOT to value the given link. NoFollow links could come from a PR7 page, high quality, high everything but that doesnt matter...the are marked with a big sign that says: "do not pay any attention to this link!!!". So nice to have but worthless for SEO...not saying that if a site grows naturally it will be bound to attract some NoFollows...but if you do link building (regular and i know it is supposed to be bad: paid link building BTW it is not because competition is doing it also) you want to create a good distribution of things...add those things to the mix also that might not do anything just to cover your link building activity in general BTW here is something interesting regarding NoFollow vs. DoFollow. As you can see the ratio suggests to have a couple nofollows in the mix....

Yahoo will count no-follow links as back links but Google not count no-follow as back link.

 

Dofollow links carry weight in terms of SEO whereas nofollow links carry no weight. With regards to link building its good practice to build both as your backlinking profile needs to look natural.

 

Google does count no follow link as backlinks but yahoo will definitely show no follow link on there site explorer also.

 

you don't need care about dofollow or nofollow, i do rank my site with nofollow links.

 

You can get traffic from Nofollow links and helping your website crawl but does not give you Page rank value as Dofollow back links gives.

In my opinion google and yahoo not count no follow link as incoming link, it will help for only traffic purpose. So always use do follow links, search engine count do follow links as incoming links.
