No follow on affiliate links

    is it advisable to add the nofollow atribute to our links? can oage rank be passed through affiliate links?

    I don't think pagerank can transfer through affiliate links. As far as I know, affiliate links do not help the affiliate provider's rankings or PR.

    It may be a good idea to add nofollow to affiliate links, but from my experience that didn't really do anything. It may be better to find more complex ways of hiding affiliate links such as a redirect on your own server that is blocked by your robots.txt file.

    Yes, affiliate links really don't give you PR. So I thing nofollow attribute is not neccessarry.

    I do think its possible. Some affiliate tracking software use 301 redirects so it will count as backlink.

    you can use .php files to redirect your affiliate links, that's a really easy way.

    It is advisable because Google will still count it as outgoing link.

    I think too it would be better to use no-follow attribute to them, besides they are not probably after PR, and each advertiser their own unique url because of their id's.

    The most affiliate links are created with JavaScript and Google doesn’t recognize those at all.
