No Follow links thru Forums - Is it true?

    What is the point putting signature link and do the postings on forums when these back links all have no follows, I believe?.

    it depends on the forums, but most of the forums that i am a member of did not put in a no-follow attribute

    install webdeveloper plugin for firefox to see if a forum sig link is nofollow. most are not. but some forums doesnt even allow sig links! :D

    DP gives you everything you need, as long as you stick to reasonable terms.
    And it doesn't block your links from being picked up by search engines if that's what you are looking for.

    Also, a lot of the forums that do have it remove it after 50 posts or so. They just want to make sure you're not a spammer.

    Most of the ones I belong to don't block them. I've seen a few that changed back after they did because the amount of participation dropped off.
