Are Nofollow links consider to b a back link???Can they generate traffic?what i know about this they are consider as a back links but these doesn't share their PR...Am i right ???
Google is not consider no follow links as a back links and yes no follow links are generate good traffic
Nofollow attribute is used to "not pass on Pagerank". Any type of inbound link can generate traffic...
no follow links generates traffic but no backlinks. it doesn't share link juice. so it is only for getting traffic.
You are all missing the point You need to strive for link profile rather than pure links Let me explain One way links only - Bad One way links and recips - Better One way links, recips and no follow - Best Without no follow tags, a few at least, this is unnatural and a filter will devalue your other links
no follow links do generate traffics, just think of them as you handing over brochures on the streets and hoping some people interested in and drop by to your site.
'No follow' links do count as back links but do not pass any PR juice as opposed to 'do follow' links. So as long as traffic and back links are concerned both of them can be treated as same.
No follow links do not pass PR values and most of SEs do not count them in backlinks. But when you see in webmaster tool -> external link feature than you can see all links which are placed with nofollow attribute. So i think Google webmaster tool shows them as backlinks but you can not get benefits of PR values from those sites. Of course you can get traffic from nofollow links if those sites are really good and high quality.
Valley Would you clarify your statement. There are two scenario here: Inbound link and Outbound links. What you say would be good advice for outbound links from you site.
