My question is simple? If I have my link on a site which is a No-Follow site does this link add any value to my site at all?? I have someone who is trying to tell me that my link from his No-Follow link website will still help my site's link popularity? Can someone please help me understand more clearly? google will not follow the link, but it still counts as one..link juice - 20%, link to help your PR - none
With no follow links you will not get any benefit of PR from the site where you placed yours. But from that site you will get benefit of anchor text.

For example up until recently, squidoo was a no follow site, but I often used to drive links to that site and being an authority site in google's eye meant it ranked well. Nett result: People clicked through to the squidoo lens, and then in some cases to my money page. So from that point of view, you could say it would help your sites popularity. Nopes, Never... Here some folks are feeding misinformation since last couple of months. Don't trust them. If you are seeking few visits from nofollow links than you can build it otherwise it's total waste of time.
