No follow in comments - Pro's and Cons

I'm currently working on a webmaster related blog and I'm thinking about removing the no follow on comments. All comments will have to be approved and I'm not worried about leaking PR.

But I was thinking this would increase spam comments as its seems logical spam robots would be able to specifically look for blogs with it removed?

If this isn't the case I really can't see any benefits of keeping the no follow command (besides loosing page rank), am I missing something?

Thanks for the link. Interesting theory about allowing regular commenters no nofollow, that would be a cool plugin.

I think I'll try it without, and see what happens. I always think about commenting on blogs and that extra link would make it worth my while, but no follows always deter me. Is there a plugin to remove no follow or do I have to manually remove it?
