I am not so sure, I know it doesn't improve page rank, and no page rank juice is passed. However, I have suspicion that it could possibly improve relevancy score. Include them anyway, Google doesn't like you just use do follow commenting. Mix in a few no follows one in your link building effort.
Although they hold no weight with Google, they make your site look more natural, so I stick some in my SEO
It's a good way to diversify your link profile so keep doing it from time to time or outsource it. Don't expect to rank high for any competitive keywords by doing blog commenting only. It won't work.
While it won't help your rankings in Google, it is still a source of traffic if you provide useful/helpful comments. The human readers can still click on your live link and surf over to your website. Even though the search engine spiders will ignore 'NoFollow' links, human readers can still benefit from them.
"No Follow Blog Commenting and Google Search Engine Ranking" This is a wrong "Do Follow Blog Commenting and Google Search Engine Ranking" it's right my friend. you are not right. i think this is writing mistake...please solve out this mistake...I hope you will do it...
Overall, I'd say that it's good to do it, even though it won't necessarily directly increase your PageRank.
I'd completely agree with sssharlasss . But before commenting, just see if the blog has some authority or is not banned by Google.
No follow blog comments do not help you rank at Google at all... They don't count the link in PR calculations, they don't count the link text in their ranking calculations, nada... Google WILL show them in the output of their LINK: operator and in WMT URLs with External Links output... but they do this simply to throw you off so that you never know which links are being counted. They also show links from URLs that are known to be under penalty in the LINK: operator and WMT URLs with External Links output. Some other engines, however, do count them. It's said that Yahoo! does... As a previous poster said, they can be a source of some traffic, but even then usually only if the comments are made on blogs that are relevant to the topic of your URL.
it won't help in increasing your page rank with google but might help for yahoo and msn, does count total google indexes.
Nofollow comments are not counted as backlinks by Google. But they can still drive traffic to a site.
No follow blog commenting serves all the purpose of good networking except that of getting you PR juice. For me, such links are equally good since they give me good visibility and traffic from a similar niche blog... Regards, RightMan
Nofollow blog comments won't help you with search engine ranking. Some people believe that if anchor text is 'unique' they might help. I really want try this out.
Nofollow is not really useless for rankings. I have tested it out on google, built links on nofollow sites and fortunately my site ranked. But nofollow will definitely still help you rank in Yahoo and MSN.
I think you should still take advantage of blog commenting even if it's nofollow because people who read the blog may click on your link so you may get traffic from the blog.
