Some of my links on "no follow" blogs are counted on Yahoo inlinks. Does this mean they are really "do follow"? Are they good links or they don't count for anything?
The "no follow" attribute is a Google thing. Yahoo may ignore, but I don't think there's any way to know for sure, although they do use it themselves.
That is not accurate. Google, Yahoo, and MSN/Live all support "nofollow," but each may treat it differently. Google typically will not crawl nofollow links while Yahoo does crawl the link. http://www.ysearchblog.com/archives/000069.html
As per my knowledge google, yahoo and msn can crawl nofolow link but they dont pass any PR share or link popularity juice for those nofollow link.
yahoo crawl nofollow but dont have effect on search results, while google nor crawl nor effect results.
It would affect only for Google... anyway you can ignore it, otherwise built more DoFollow links for instance.
As several have stated, the three major SE's all use the NOFOLLOW attribute, but they each apply the standard differently. Wikipedia has a nice chart on it, but it goes something like this: (Assuming a new page that is not indexed due to othe spiderable links) G: Not Followed, Not Indexed, No PR Passed Y: Followed, Not Indexed, Not used in SERP calculations M: ???, Not Indexed, Not used in SERP calculations Also note that nofollow links WILL show up in your list of Pages With External Links in the Google Webmaster Tools!
