No even one purchase with ClickBank

    Hi,

Can someone share some experience with ClickBank.

I've almost 6 months no even one purchase trough my site as in the same time I'm sending them about 10-15 visitors per day.

I am not lying the visitors, even I am using descriptive banners related to the matter of my site, but still nothing.

A friend of mine gave me an advice to put the links inside the text and promises that will work, but I am not really certain about that.

    Any thoughts ?

    10x in advance.

Perhaps it has nothing to do with the way you're doing things. Maybe you're just promoting bad products.

I wondering what you are doing wrong since 10-15 visitors a day are actually interested in the products... can you please provide me the url of your site, so I can check your site and clickbank products?

Also double-check your hop links (I have made that mistake in the past)

How do you promote your Clickbank hoplinks?
That single question Always has a Major effect on how you make your "clicks convert" on Clickbank.com!

    Remember #1: 1 Picture = 1,000 Words!

    Example:
Let's take my eBooks site. I'll give customers a way to search for eBooks with pictures, reviews, ratings, and software downloads 100% Free of Charge! Maybe you just need to find a way to do the Same with Clickbank!
I'm currently getting around seven sales per day, anywhere from $19 - $37 per order. It's Ok for now but just remember If you sale "Golf Products" show pictures of "Golf eBooks" not Pets!

 Remember #2: All External Links Opens a New Window!

You can easily do this by adding the HTML code ( target="_blank" ) to the end of all external urls! Thus keeping customers on your page while viewing your products on another!
Hint: PR goes up because people actually stay on your main page longer! Time is Money folks!!

No I'm NOT Trying to Promote Anything! Just Remember Rule #1 & #2, and you'll Be Fine!!!

    10x for the replies.

My site is onlinehowto.net and the clickbank banners are different and related to the different sections. For example under applications I have Joomla; under development I have PHP under Internet I have hosting ... and so on.

I've spoke with other people and they advised me to remove the banners, to put the links inside the text and to cloak them .. like to hide the URL where they're going.

    My advice, change the nice
or work on your traffic, do bum marketing (write articles and submite to ezinearticles)

Clcikbank pays way more than adsense, which is a positive thing. But, on the other hand, it also takes many hops to make a sale.

A few tips that work for me -

    1. Be sure your promoting the right products. Unless they fit EXACTLY in your niche, they're not going to work. Products that customers NEED always sell better than products customers WANT. The more desperate they are for information, the more likely they are to buy the product.

    2. Let the customer know that they're going to an external sales page, so they won't be surprised.

For example, If you have a site about "Getting a Good Deal on a New Car" and you're hopping customers to a clickbank eBook on the topic, you might have a picture of the book cover with the words, "Download John Doe's Guide to Getting Awesome Deals on Vehicles" written below. Don't hide the face that it's an ebook, which is what many people do. When customers are sent to a sales page, and not expecting it, they almost always close the window.

    3. Be sure the product your promoting has a really good pitch page. If it has external links, adsense, less-than-exciting sales copy, unprofessional layout, or seems scammy, then don't promote the product.

    4. Don't be afraid to plug the product directly.

For example, you may write: "Have you seen my friend Jon Doe's eBook? He tells you EXACTLY what to say to a car salesman so YOU can land the best deal possible. I just used his advice to save $5,600 on my new Dodge Intrepid. Click here to download his product."

    Hope this helps! Good luck!
