so are you saying that those who are more successful in life through hard work should be taxed more for their hard work? Just like a liberal...you want to take away all the good things that people have worked so hard for...you should be shrillary's running mate....socialism 101.

What incentive would there be for parents to work for extra money to pass on to their kids if they knew it would be confiscated?

Also, wouldn't this lack of incentive to produce economic activity hurt the very people you would be trying to help with this tax?

This means that the rich will just find more ways to hide their money to keep from paying taxes...our tax system needs fixing, it doesn't need to keep have additions to it...

People forget that taxes don't happen in a vacuum. they are a disincentive to do the thing you are being taxed for. all you have to do is look back at the luxury tax of 1991 to see the result. Businesses went under and people making low wages were hurt the worst by it.

People never learn. everyone pushes the same, old tired class warfare and never think or consider new ways to raise revenue that is fair for everyone.

Who is calling the rich "victims"? I'm certainly not. But I come back to the simple question of why they should pay taxes twice on money — once during their life as they earned it, and again as a "death tax".
