I have quite a new site, it's only a few months old so maybe I'm expecting too much, but I'm not having much luck with Google.

I've had some success with MSN Yahoo, I'm ranking quite well for some of my keywords, mostly on the 1st page. My link popularity is growing steadily. I have 104 on Yahoo and 59 on MSN, yet on Google I have only one :( I know Google won't show every link, but it's only had that one for over a month.

I've submitted my site to many many directories, but it's not worked. By looking at my log files Google is coming every few days, but it's only Indexed my home page I really don't understand. I do have Adsense running and I know that I get that bot coming to the site, maybe that's what I've been seeing.

Since Google isn't showing any links I have no PR, at first I thought that I must be in the sandbox, but I should still be able to get PR shouldn't I?

does anyone have any ideas or advice for me?

Google takes a while...you need to have patience. Also, Google weights all of the inbound links to your site. Don't expect Google to be impressed by directory listings...they are looking for long term seasoning.

If only your home page is getting indexed I would suggest putting a text link to your site map with a very clear/short site map. Now, hurry up and wait.

You might want to persue doing link exchange with other related sites. So that you build some backlinks and relevancy to your site. It is a good idea to email the webmaster of a particular site for reciprocal linking. Do a few a week and eventually you can end up with quite a few. Note these are not as valuable as one way links to Google, but they do help build relevancy for your site.
    Good luck

If your site is new it will have no PR, nor will it have one until the next TBPR update; keep in mind that PR for toolbar (TBPR) only updates about every 90-120 days so even if you're getting indexed and picking up links, you won't have a PR until the next TBPR.
