Somehow I don't think that it's bothering her.

I didn't know that Hindu's were cookers. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. Diggers just seem so eerily primitive. When I go, I want to be cooked -- but only because humans are too filthy to eat.

Cryonics is the best hope so far... Being burnt away or decomposed leaves little chance for coming back.

    Gratuitous burning quotes!

Sir Bedevere: What makes you think she's a witch?
Peasant 3: Well, she turned me into a newt!
    Sir Bedevere: A newt?
Crowd: [meekly after a long pause] ... I got better.
    Crowd: [shouts] Burn her anyway!

The Witch: I'm not a witch I'm not a witch!
Sir Bedevere: But you are dressed as one
The Witch: *They* dressed me up like this!
    Crowd: We didn't! We didn't...
The Witch: And this isn't my nose. It's a false one.
Sir Bedevere: [lifts up her false nose] Well?
Peasant 1: Well, we did do the nose.
    Sir Bedevere: The nose?
Peasant 1: And the hat, but she is a witch!
Crowd: Yeah! Burn her! Burn her!

    Helpful travel tip:

If you ever visit Salem and go on the tours of the various places; the tour guides find very little humor when you yell out burn them! every time they mention a witch. Very little humor, indeed. How sad.

Do you know this from personal experience? Somehow I could just see you doing this:) I wouldn't be surprised if the tour guides are witches, perhaps that is why they weren't laughing.

The beauty of being human is that you live in a spitirual world.

Once you get past the obvious and hop the happy spirit train thats when the real ride begins.

I completely agree, this news had shocked me that these people are not following the rules of Islam.

Islam clearly states the respect of other religions and their activities.

Perhaps. Cryonics impresses me more than spirituality though.

That technology is so new, that perhaps the feasibility is low as well. You going to go Disney on us?

Yes, but only recently did they find that older methods may make the brain unrecoverable for future technologies. I looked into this stuff sometime ago. I believe there's two reputable companies out there at the moment.

Nothing wrong with the idea, but it's still kind-of a big unknown...the results.

You may wake-up a total retard (no pun intended) or with a slice of your memory gone. It's only about 50k, but the uneasiness of such an occurence leads to be believe that they need to work on the process a bit more.

It's usually the last resort. Given a choice between being dying & being burnt away, or frozen & have a remote chance of waking up... I'd pick the latter.
