Hey every one, Like most of you, I am trying to get high quality backlinks and a high page rank. How should a video search engine website get high quality back links? The site has very little content and I can't figure out any other way to get high PR links without paying for them. Your advice is much appreciated. Thanks, Theo.
Just do dofollow blog comment posting, dofollow forum posting, and offer free article writing with 3 links.
This method is not very effective. I'd preffer to make few presell pages for my own and let it be filled by others.
Start building links and increase reputation. You can go for paid review or ask any other blogger to get review for your website.. As much as your search engine get famous people will link you for free. Article submission, commenting wisely can help you. Good article directories are Ezinearticles.com Articlesbase.com Xoomba.com businesstalky.com Goarticle
Before OffPage Optimization you need to check for OnPage Tweaks..Like 1.Adding keyword unlike Search Results use smthing like this Video Search Results (Showing 1-10 video search results) 2.Save Recently searched videos and Searched videos categories like pages.. 3.H2 in Video Search result 1,2,3,..so on... On Page tweaks... Video is an entertainment niche so find forums and blogs on jokes , wallpapers , songs and videos etc...This will give high relevancy.. Considering the damping factor there needs to have a sense of more content to the crawler with pages like 1.Popular 2.Most searched 3.Recent 4.Random
Yes that is correct, people in most cases miss the phrase "Onpage Optimization for quick search engine ranking". You should be aware of onpage structure for better ranking and get some quality links related to your niche using blog commenting, forum sigs and web 2.0 linking. That should do.
I'd say that for content you can add a bunch of tags to each of your categories, that will give you at least some relevance if you are trying to match the anchors pointing to your page to the actual landing page...Furthermore, some web 2.0, press releases, social marketing wouldn't hurt... do that along with youtube marketing and you should be on your way. If you can't get the tags or content in place then focus on building a bunch of backlinks... I remember seeing an example of the power of the sheer volume of anchor texts and what it did for "Adobe" and the keyword "click here"
social bookmarking is good too, especially for those funny video. Most people want to find something funny on the web.
