No Confirmation Email After User Registration

    Hi,

    In my joomla site when a user registers they don't get a confirmation email. But this doesn't happen to all the users. I tested with about 15 email addresses (all yahoo addresses) . Some users get the confirmation and some never get it. But when i check from the user manager it shows they are registered but havent enabled the account. Im wondering why only some user get the email. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

    are the message maybe in the spam folder? I also had problems and my email program told me the recipient does not recipe anymore mails, but this accounts are still receiving mails. I am also very interested in this topic, someone else same problems?

    well the problem is with the email accounts and not with joomla, certain addresses received the confirmation immediately and some received it after almost 24 hours so i guess theres nothing wrong with joomla,,
