No competition on Adwords -- Can I pay .10 a click?

I am bidding like .32 a click on a term that has virtually no competition. It has a great quality score. I end up paying about 15-20 cents a click for it.

Can I bid like .10 a click for this term and still get it to show up with every search?

    Thanks....

What is the recommended minimum bid? If I go below the recommended bid I don't get any play..

    Hmm

Even when I do the minimum bid (10 cents) it still gives me very few impressions.

How to I find out the ideal point of lowest bid / most impressions?

Trial and error...does it possibly have low impressions because no one is really using those keyword or even looking for the item?

    Use their Traffic Estimator: https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox

And yes, trial and error helps. For example: start off at $.10, then go up to $.15 the next day, then to $.20 the following day, and so on. Once you reach a spending level you are comfortable with, then stop raising your bid.

    Good Luck!

You can keep your bid As Low As the Minimum Recommended Bid

You may be able to get away with it. If you have a good quality score, you can try lowering your bid .01 every few days and see if there is a dropoff. Of course it will also depend on where the next closest bid below your bid is.
