I am farely new to adwords, I have set up an account and i originally had my budget set to $30/mo, and I was getting only a few impressions, and I rasied it to $40/mo and I still don't get many impressions and I have only had two clicks in total. What are some ways to get more clicks? I don't think it is the key word because it is for "quitting smoking" and related keywords.

What do you guys think could be the problem? and how could I get more clicks?

how many your impressions? what's your CTR? Ads position? Give us more details. Try to make your ad titles as keyword specific for your bidded keywords. If you have any promotional offer, make sure to include it in the body of your ad.

My stats are 4422 impressions with 2 clicks.
I added my promotional offer to my ad and I will see how it does today.
    Thanks for the tips.

Try all the keywords which usually searched by visitors and add content placements also to different websites. First set your PPC rate and high and than lower it. It will work 100%.

I've been using adwords for more than a year..From my experience, it is not because of your monthly budget why you didn't get many clicks. I think it is because of your cost per click or cpc for each keywords you choose, the number of keywords you use and how you create the ads.

Increase the cpc a bit and see what happen to your impression. Also increase your keywords. If the impression increase you should get many clicks if you have a good ads. Hope that will help. :)
