I just signed-up with adword 3 days, I set my campaign to $5 per-day and set the CPC to $0.15 , on the Traffic Estimator it said you should generate 4 - 8 clicks per day. So 2 day later I still got no clicks, so I increased my CPC to $0.20, then it said you should generate 5 - 10 clicks per day, now its been another 30hours and I still got no clicks. Do I need to increase my daily budget to get increase clicks?
If you're getting impressions but no clicks you need to write better ads, select better keywords/matching options or a combination of both.
I believe my ad is good, it explains what my website offers. I'm using 37 keywords. I hope it doesn't give me 1 click per-week. I just increased it $15 per-day, maybe that will get some clicks, hopefully 2 clicks per-day.
thats weird becasue i have a campaign spending $3 a day and i get all 3 dollars used up with clicks at a maximum of $0.05. You should make your adds accessible to all languages and enable content search.
I would drop content search and make your adwords more targeted to the keywords. Your ad cannot be targeted to all 37 words. If you really want to test your ad increase your cost per click to get a top position. That is the real proof. chad
Don't get caught up with what you think - let the results dictate what is good and what is not. If people (potential customers) are not clicking your ad then they don't think it's good/relevant/related and that's all that counts. I usually have 4 or 5 different ads going in each group. I determine which are working and which are not and build from there. It's possible, just depends on how it's set up. Just as an example, I sell ice cream via adwords. I have 50 flavors and want to promote each of them. Assume my keyword list for this adgroup looks something like; [vanilla ice cream] [chocolate ice cream] [mint ice cream] [fudge ice cream] etc etc etc My ad says Title: {KeyWordave's Ice Cream} Line 1: Delicious {keyword:ice cream}. Line 2: Order now before it melts. URL: www..urlhere..com So someone searching for vanilla ice cream sees; Title: Vanilla Ice Cream Line 1: Delicious vanilla ice cream. Line 2: Order now before it melts. URL: www..urlhere..com Doing it this way saves time - no need to set up 50 unique adgroups. When setting up ads this way exact match is key - without you end up with some potentially funny looking ads.
Anyway I improved my ad, I increased my cost per click, to the max that I could. I guess google adword was not meant for my website. Thanks for all your help.
I should increase my CPC, but my convert rate is one person buys out of 15. If I increase it anymore, I won't make any profit from it, actually, I will lose money.
20 is pretty low. That means on average you're at the bottom of page 2. That position will generate a substantially lower number of clicks than an average postion in the top 10.
may be you can select some not so high bid keywords. I have a lot of keywords but only a few generate the traffic, you have to try different keywords.
