    Hi Amerelgen ,

There is not hard and fast or black and white rule of getting clicks from any user. Three most important factors to improve your CTR are :

    1- Ads placement.
    2- Traffic.
    3- Relevance.

Now every user will not click the ads, and many might but if they are not placed on strategic locations then they won't and most importantly they won't click on an ad just for the sake of clicking but hey would click it if the ad is relevant to them. Most of the time if the page is not optimized enough then the google ads won't be relevant .. so you need to make sure that the ads are relevant to the content of the page or as per the keywords for which you are getting the traffic.

Hope this would help you in making the website better and improving your CTR. In the end i'd say adsense is not easy, its hard work so Best of luck.

can't really see much wrong with your ads - downside is the site has so much different content on that if visitors find your site as they are searching for 'blue widgets' and the ads are displaying information on 'red widgets' they will not click.

You also need to consider the site might generally have a really low ctr so you may need a couple of hundred visitors before you get 1 click.

I think people forget that if you are trying to gain money from adsense you will be better off sticking to a similar theme - this will then produce relevant ads to the people visiting your site and possibly more clicks. By having a site that covers all areas Google ads will be all over the place and you wont get many clicks

I thought the design was actually good.

I'd recommend specializing in a niche. I don't get what keyword/niche you're aiming for except for internet marketing in general, and I don't even see you targeting THAT keyword.

IMO, you can use nice layout first to get clicked.
and also do post impressions/ctr other data first.

I read an interesting article a while back that said Google Adsense is only a good option for making money when a site is fully developed. You need a community of people as well as lots of unique visits. The advice was to guest post as often as possible to generate quality traffic. Becoming an authoritative figure within your niche is a better approach.

    Are your articles unique?

Hmmmm experiment with add placements, seeing as you get a steady flow of visitors its a good time to experiment. You'll find which position works best with your website.

You know there are some rules that you need to to follow in order to make more money or getting clicks on your ads.

    1.Fresh content
    2.Ad color and ad placement
    3.Targeted traffic.

Check which one you are missing.

There's no way to say how many clicks you should expect. Some sites get more, others less.

The best thing you can do, in my opinion, is to experiment with your ad placement. Ads typically do better at the top/left of a page, but depending on how your site is organized the ads might do better somewhere else.

In fact, you might try Google Page Optimizer.

Your content will also have a lot to do with how many ads are clicked. Obviously, content is important to get organic traffic to your site - but if your visitors find everything they're looking for, they might not click on your ads. Likewise, if they don't find anything they want they might not click either. Your content needs to be balanced so that clicking ads will benefit the visitor.

Almost every tips and answers have been already provided by the other members. However, the most important part that you need to keep in-mind are the TOS of google.
