No clicks on CJ ebay store

is anyone having any problems with no clicks being registered in CJ for an ebay store. I usually get about 10-30, and my logs show the same. I have not changed any code on my websites.

 

Same here.

It's been like that for days and I'm nervous about their ability to capture the commissions if they can't even capture the clicks.

All this during peak shopping season.

I had 65 clicks on 1 impression the other day so thats got me wondering how to pull that off lol.....

Seems they are having problems with their reporting analysis platform.

 

I just noticed yesterday that I am not showing any clicks for the day. Which is odd because I had one of my larger ctr days with ppc. I was quite disappointed this morning.

 

Based on quite a few years of experience, I can't say that I have that level of confidence in CJ. There are more reliable networks.

 

Omg you guys are killing me, I check the forums last night to see if it was just me and there was no posts. Although impossible I guess there is a freakish chance that my 20 some pages could bring in 0 clicks.

Now I check and everyone is having the same problem, thank god! lol Maybe I can sleep a little better tonight.

 

I'll sleep better when I find out that I'm actually making money and not wasting my time providing a bunch of free advertising space for eBay and CJ.

...slowly...getting...bitter....


Does CJ stink this bad on everything or just eBay?

 

In my opinion, it has nothing to do with eBay and everything to do with CJ. Sure, there are rogue merchants, but CJ simply falls short when it comes to fair treatment of affiliates. There also, are many tales of questionable relations with merchants.

 

So what group would you recommend besides CJ? (I've only had experience with them and Clickbank.)

 

75 clicks just appeared on my account but no sales or leads.

 

My clicks for yesterday have shown up now.

 

Not one click for today. Only 14 for yesterday which is odd. What the heck is going on with them lately?

 

All tracking for eBay is done with their own system & uploaded to CJ. It's can't be a CJ tracking issue.

 

When you say that eBay does the tracking, does that include sales and not just impressions and clicks? I would trust eBay to do things on the up and up.

 

More than likely what everyone saw was CJ end of month run of it's numbers for the past 30 days and while doing so current stats were lost temporarily.

Ebay is going to monitor all traffic coming from CJ in order to evaluate CJs performance. They will not pay CJ for invalid issues.

CJ will evaluate advertisers and publishes, to evaluate performance of both parties. CJ will not accept poor performing Advertisers and will close their account and at the same time CJ will not accept publishers trying to cheat their system and / or will close the accounts of those publishers they find attempting to defraud their system.

Every business has a right to protect themselves from cheats, fraud, thieves, scams or other crimes.

Being an online business does not change this fact!!

I was and am having steady sales through my ebay sites over the last week, only small but sorta shows some logging is happening.

Having said that on my other site the impressions and clicks don't seem to be logging. Its probably just a slack in the system or us not getting as many hits as we think?

 

Your affiliate links could possibly be broken.

Also hits are not what you want to count. A webpage visited will generate 10 to 30 hits for 1 human visitor.
