what was your promo methods ? How much was the traffic hits ? how much of them even hit the order form ?
Not so easy to sell when doing ads. I guess for ads you have to choose products which have sales pages which are higly converting. There is no metric to say if the sales page is converting so you have to go with your gut feeling by looking at the sales page and put yourself in a potential buyer. Also make the ads take the benefits of the product before sending the visitors to the sales pages.
Posting ads to classified is rarely to earn commissions with affiliate marketing, because if doesnt get enough targeted visitors. My suggestion video marketing on Youtube: - Choosing the good product to promote: gravity between 15 to 50 for less competition. - Create video to review the product : + Contact the vendor and tel (s)he that you want to promote the product ask for a review copy. + Create the voice over video to list the benefit product to promote. You can outsource this step on fiverr - Using some services to ping your video url and manually build backlink (social bookmarking is good for video marketing)frequently until your video reach the page 1 on youtube. Your video will be on page one Google in a short time. - Regularly post comments (not spam) related to your niche. -[Optional] Order the 2 type of fiverr gigs about youtube views and likes; social bookmarking will help your video reach the page 1 faster. Hope this help
Yeh, your traffic sources are challenging. It appears you have limited capital, so I support the YT recommendation. If you create a short 1 - 2 minute a day, you'll have 30 up in one month. This can add up and drive alot of traffic to your links.
I completely understand how you feel, I have been this since March, however, I am not giving up....My suggestion is face book pages pulse YT placed on Facebook.Do not give up after all good things do come to people whom preserver.
Clickbank works. The problem is you are promoting too many products at once pick ONE product do good keword research and build a website around that product. Write articles do videos linking back to your site. You have to be consistant with this. Also don't forget to build a list..
Haven't managed to get any sales till now. Can anyone tell me a decent way to promote the links if I don't have a site of my own?
If you are doing free method, then try to start a blog and focus on content writing and then focus 1-3 clickbank products at a time. If you are have some budget, then try to drive traffic to the blog using PPC. Of course, make sure you start list building and send to your email list great content and products.
Try to rank your websites and so proper as well as quality SEO for your websites, also try to increase the social appearance of your webs.
I have only started with Clickbank and having read this, I am both discouraged and encouraged. Maybe having your own website helps but then it would cost you some bucks.
I can tell you it's not easy with anything, at least I'm working on it for 2 months straight and I surely haven't yet found the correct way
The thing is that you need some kind of traffic before saying that it doesnt work. How many visitor per day do you bring on the sale page? Any interaction with the visitor before sending him to the sale page? Scale your things up to 100 visitors per day before saying that it doesnt work. If you cant do that, your traffic method are either not good, or not well used.
how do you know what to promote? I've read posts from people that say you should only promote products that you have actually bought. But from reading others postings, it doesn't seem that everyone does this , yet they are still making money promoting clickbank products. for example , how do you honestly promote a quit smoking product if you're a non-smoker? The product may work , but as an affiliate you can't really honestly give advice to quit smoking if you don't smoke. It's the same for a lot of the products I see on the clickbank marketplace. Is everyone that promotes a weight loss product fat? or does every affiliate promoting six pack abs actually have six pack abs?
