I'm not asking for a sensation, but out of over 400 views there hasn't been one click? I included my description in a nice sentence and everything, describing exactly what it it, and I KNOW I picked the right keywords--statcounter told me for over a year what keywords people used to reach my site. We are on the front page of google with our ads and there are NO competing ads there. Nothing.
A nice sentence does not make people click on ads. You've got to MAKE people click, find the magnet, the magic words. And it's not "scam" as some would suggest, which wouldn't apply to every product out there in the first place. You've got to be logical about your keywords too. Statcounter may say a keywords was used most to reach your site but is it relevant to the product? Are those 400 views on search? Or does it include the content network? Don't mix the two. Basically, your ads are not attractive enough so nobody clicks. Could be the keywords but likely the ads.
Couldn't agree more than what's already said at the top. Most likely you have a bad ad. Mabye bull, non-interesting or just very plain, so no one is tempted to click it. A decent ad should have some 1-4 % click throughs, write up a few ads and let Google circle them till you find something which works for you and renders clicks.
I'm hoping it IS the ad because if the ad's great and STILL nobody's clicking then there's nothing I can do to really change that. I don't have much room in there for more than one or maybe two nice sentences. I'm open to any suggestions to tweak that ad! Thanks guys
Better improve the quality of ur ads and also try to increase the Cost per click, so that you get the first position and maximum cliks
You create quality ads, which add on content and increase the traffic of the site, then you increase the per click earning.
Also, it depends on the niche you're targeting. Some niche simply don't convert into sales that well. There was this Microsoft online site I've used somewhere that would detect the keyword you're using, and gives you an estimation whether people searching for particular keywords are looking to buy, or looking for info only. Sorry, I forgot the URL... I don't even remember its name; I'm looking for it myself, should've bookmarked it.
Yes sometimes keywords with high impression do not have high CTR. I only use keywords with high CTR, you will never know what keywords with high CTR until you try it in your campaign.
