This is not error. You can get paid for every impression that counts. Generally if you have opted for image ads, they are compensated by CPM earnings not CPC, so you will get paid per impression. per thousand impression rate with variable and depends on many parameters just like the rate per click. and it can be paid for any number of impression no matter how small.. I have once been paid $1.88 for just 19 impression and no clicks, what will you say ? Your most of the ads are probably CPM ads ( they are either image/text ads or only image ads ) If you have only image ads it will mean that you wont be paid anything for clicks. (maybe this is happening with you as well) however you never noticed that you are regularly paid for impressions because you never noticed 0 clicks in a day before.. So it is normal
They pay for impressions because some advertisers opt for cost per impression advertising. These type of ads are mostly for announcing new products services or new offers, they are very helpful in creating awareness and building a brand quickly and also are generally cheaper than CPC ads. The main purpose of these ads is to announce their product without requiring someone to come to their website.(however interested people may click the ads and they are most welcome )
I never bothered of this thing. Even I got paid some good number of times only for the impressions and zero clicks.
Nice, an eCPM of $6.50 (approx) is good. You may even find that your site was targeted. (have a look in the Ad Review center) That's right. If the CPM is $0.01, then it would take 1000 impressions before you made 1 cent. If the CPM is $10.00, then you would get paid 1 cent per impression. If you keep getting targeted with high paying CPM ads, then try and refrain from visiting your site too often without an ad blocker, as it can artificially increase the cost to your advertisers. Yes it is possible. These are the earnings you got with impressions. Adsense also pays for the ads you display even when they are not clicked!
