Hello, I am in Australia and since Adsense updated there payment things i am no longer able to set up to receive checks... why? I could set up a bank account but Adsense can never get this to work - something to do with they only accept a few aussie banks Is this right for everyone?
I've been getting bank payments in the UK for 7-8 years now. So to say they can't get it to work in Australia seems odd, can't see the banking system being so different. You haven't even been able to get check books from most UK banks now for a couple of years or more. Nearly all businesses no longer take them. My bank used to charge me £20 to process each dollar check plus exhorbitant conversion rates, plus took six weeks to cash it. So I opted for electronic payment as soon as I could. Can't see why you'd want to continue to get checks, also don't you need a bank account to cash the cheque anyway? You would in the UK.
