Cluster bombs despite its harm to civilians are not banned by International treaty unlike land mines, so I guess nothing much can be done about it :(

What did you expect???? Did you REALLY think that they would come back and say: "yeah, we violated international law"????
This is so silly that it is not even worth a read.

There is no International law prohibiting cluster bombs usage. Though I agree with the UN officer's words it is "shocking" and "completely immoral".

US military uses cluster bombs on a large scale, in every war. It has large stockpiles of these bombs.

And the US administration is controlled by neocons, who in turn are elected by the donations of military-industrial complex and powerful lobbies.

Any attempt to pass international laws in the UN against the wishes of the neocon lobby groups will be vetoed by US administration. We all have been it so many times now, to prove that UN is a bloody joke.

UN is as dysfunctional as League of Nations was before its time. Even worse, people like John Bolton represented USA. It was shocking at that time! But not anymore.

Hopefully, Ron Paul will have some kind of magic wand and solve deep-entrenched problems when he is elected.

I doubt Hezbollah would do that.

"Hezbollah has also been accused of using cluster munitions among the 4000 rockets it fired into Israel during the fighting."

Mind you they were only firing at Jews as opposed to terrorists, right?

Funny how you don't see anything wrong in killing innocent civilians.

Given that the Israeli's were defending themselves from some 4000 rockets, I would say it is entirely possible there was some collateral damage. That is not the fault of the IDF however. They sent word to the public through several channels to leave the area.

Instead, your Hezbullyah buds, like they usually do, used several civilians as shields. They did this by either holding them hostage, or invading their homes and launching rocket attacks from that which would normally be a safe and comfortable domicile.

Hezbullyah, like most bully terrorists are cowards who hid behind women and children to do their dirty deeds... The end result is, a lot of civilians get killed. You should be ashamed for supporting such sick people...

Don't let your hatred of Jews cloud reality...

Speaking of, did they bring charges against hezbollah for hiding behind women and children to fight a war they started?

Did they bring charges against hezbollah and hamas for firing rockets into Israel for the sole purpose of nothing more than killing Jews?

Funny how Israelies were defending themselves from rockets and Hezbollah started with rockets 3 days after Israeli invasion. :)

We already had this convo once and you failed to answer few question I've asked you regarding Lebanon war. I doubt you will answer them now but I'll try.
If it's true what you said here and Hezbollah did nothing but hide behind civilians can you tell me who stopped 30,000 best armed and trained troops on planet earth to reach Litani river which is only like 18 miles from Israeli border?

You should be ashamed for non-stop accussing people without any proofs. Care to quote any of my posts where I supported Hezbollah? You can't so you will probably post random crap as you usually do.

Don't let you hatered of Muslims cloud your reality... It seems to me that you eat up IDF propaganda like it's chocolate cake...

Both hezbollah and hamas are terrorist organisations so what charges do you need? It's not enough for being charged as terrorist organisation?
