No broad match?

After using ysm for a couple of months I've come to the conclusion that there simply is no broad match function whatsoever. Have others found this?

I only bid on long tail keywords. So let's say I bid on "Honda Accord coup" my ad will show for that but not for "Honda Accord coup leather interior". I emailed ysm and they replied basically saying I would have to manually enter all specific phrases if I want my ad to show. I replied with "how can I possibly know every phrase a person would type in. Google has broad, Msft has broad, so why doesn't ysm have broad?" And they responded with "we don't have broad matching because it keeps the quality of the ads high" or something to that nature. And as for their advanced match - that's not a broad matching option in any way shape or form.
I'm surprised to see so little discussion regarding this on the forums.
Because of a lack of broad matching, ysm is pretty much totally useless to me.

To get around this i usually run advanced match at the beginning. I track all the new relevant keywords, add them and then switch back to standard match
