No backlinks shown by google

It has been 4 months since I started my WP blog. I submitted it to directories, article sites, PR site, tried to acquire many links. Was successful in the end. But, google does not show any backlinks to my site when I type in link:www.m y d o m a i n.com

Whereas in google webmaster tools, it shows over 700 backlinks.
I was just wondering when will google show backlinks and when will I acquire my first PR.

 

Google don't update PR/backlinks daily,be patient,they update 3 or 4 times a year.

 

What matters isn't whether google shows backlinks or not - but whether it's starting to send you visitors. 4 months into your site - 700 quality links is good, whether google shows them or not.

 

smes here, google don't show backlink to my new website so i guess i still need to wait.

 

with google backlinks , its a waiting game.
i had backlinks shown after around 6 months.

 

ya , Im waiting for back links too.
mysite are about 2 months,and show backlinks 956 in Yahoo,but 0 in Google.

 

try to use Google Alert service,

it will email you once you get any backlink!

 

Try searching in yahoo it shows olmost all the backlinks

 

i think you must wait google to update link: command

 

Backlinks show-up is quite uncertain and PR is even more, although you should know that PR changes occur quite rare during a year. So just do your part and Google will do his for sure... need quite a lot of patience.
