No backlinks showing

    Hello,

    Even though I have had co-op ads on my site for a couple of days, if I use either the bl tool or google's link: command, I see no back links to my site.

    I thought I should be receiving links as soon as my site is validated.

    Google doesn't change what you see with the link: command more than once every few months. Last time it was updated was the beginning of September.

    Ok, then how do I find out how many back links i have. The backlink tool shows 0 back links as well?
    I am just trying to find out how effective all my link sharing is being.

    You'll just have to wait it out with Google. But, as already mentioned, you can check with MSN to get an idea since they update backlinks much more frequently than Google.

    Also, Google doesn't report all backlinks to your site when you use the link: command.
