    Dear all,

I want to create a new adsense website about a software package that I know a lot about.

The thing is it is already well covered over the internet. I have now found a specific topic within this software program where the competition is not so tough.

The thing is when I google on my specific theme no ads show up on the rright hand side of google. I was wondering if I would still be able to place "general" ads about the software program on my website then. Or will there be no ads at all to place on my specific topic site?

And what would this mean for the CTR? will it be very low ?

    Thanks for any help!

It might be, many topics and keywords are got no ads for them, but you could choose related ads.

No ads appearing in google generally means that there is no money being spent on that keyword.
You could use Google External Keyword Tool to check CPC of your chosen keywords and related ones
Keywords with low CPC mean you aren't likely to earn much from .

    Thanks for the replies!

The thing is that the software package itself has alot of advertisers with > 1 euro CPC...
Keywords like "software packagename" cources or training receive many ads.
But ofcource these topics are well covered.

Would it be wise to add ads about the same software package but different interest. What CTR can you expect?
I do expect lots of trafic though...

ctr normally depends on the interest of the users. if they are relevant it can do good with the users clicks

you can put up relevant ads, which the users may find interesting.
