I have ordered my VPS more than 17 hours back....I never received a mail wth my VPS login info. Later found the login details in client area....In that it is mentioned that u can access ur VPS through HyperVm but the technician told they are not providing Hypervm/Kloxo. That is the reason I ordered Cpanel for management but even after 17 hours VPS is not ready with cpanel. They hv just provisioned the vps with root access and nuthing else....But how the hell some one without much knowledge on Linux will b able to work in ssh to set up everything.....I even installed VNC for remote access to GUI and could not figure out apache, mysql configuration...
@ Xenomphile You don't manage your VPS with HyperVM. All HyperVM does is let you view your usage graphs, reboot, rebuild, shut down your VPS, and all of that can be done using SSH. @ digitalarts Have you tried submitting a ticket? CPanel installations can take VERY long. I remember one time, it took my DC 8-10 hours to install.
Guys let me tell my experience with Nixsm... I chatted with presales and they promised all big things including taking back up of my account. But once I purchased the VPS they started shoing the colors.... - First of all their tech support is handled by the owner itself who is a kido (i knew later) ..they do not hv 24x7 support as they claim as a ticket takes 10 hours to receive a reply. - The guy who replies to ticket does not know the C of customer service and he is not at all professional. - They told me tdue to some plans they hv all the specs will be doubled which never happened after I signed up. - During presales the guy said cpanel will take 4-5 hours to install where as it took me 24 hours to get the Cpanel installation. -They do not offer VPS management panel when u ask they will say they will look after everything so u do not need to worry ...where in reality they dun care once u buy the service. - According to their B**S ** TOS they offer refund if u claim it within 24 hours of sign up....(Wher on earth u will find such a TOS) - They do not care to inform client if anything goees bad with server and they just lie... - My VPS went down with firest 24 housr of set up and when i raised a ticket they told they are working on it...By that time it crossed 24 housr and later they said I hv to work on my own as it is not their headache..And as 24 hours has crossed they will not provide refund. - The Irony is that they claim they are able to ssh into my VPS where as I tried from 3 different systems with 3 IP addresses and I can not. How on eartn it is possible.... - They say that they will give me a new VPS for that reason...(where in earth I hva ll the time to again set up everything) I have 1000s of other points to say abt them but I will write them later.... I am just letting u guys know that....DO NOT TRUST THIS HOSTING COMPANY AS THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CHEATER IN THE HOSTING INDUSTRY. AND ESPECIALLY WHEN A HOSTING COMPANY IS MANAGED BY A KID ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM IT. MY verdict ...........NOT AT ALL RELIABLE. NOT AT ALL EFFICIENT SUPPORT...NOT AT ALL TRUSTED... So if you wish to fall prey to dumbass and loose your money go for their hosting...
