Nissan would be TMed, but I don't think that they would have an issue with a fan club site.

The "-" kills the name, but I'd say Mid $xx to Low $xxx

There should not be a TM issue. I disagree with htmlindex, "-" makes the domain name safer w.r.t TM issue.

Having in mind what the turnaround for a project like this could be, I'd try pushing its value up to say $500. Developed, of course.

The hyphen is required here, I think. Not killing the name but making it look nicer. Sometimes "-" does help in a domain name and I think this is one of those cases.

TM issue, so you might not get any value.

Would be? there was a huge scan around Nissan sueing the former owner of the domain nissan.com.

He argued te name was used because of his surname but Nissan said it is a trademark so no excuse for using such name, and no value as it was already said.

Yes, developing a project takes time, and yes you might get in trouble with Nissan, that if not planning well.

Sometimes companies don't mind if a new website comes around using their name as part of the address, as long as it only benefits their business. Fan clubs do good so you might be a lucky holder of this domain name. At theend of the day, Nissan might take the project over if they want to, and you may get some decent dough for it.
