Nintendog.com $350 monthly income

Discussion in 'Sites' started by RectangleMan, Sep 26, 2005.

Well I need some cash so this is one of my best sites currently.

    http://www.nintendog.com

Nintendogs is a VERY popular new Nintendo game. Currently there are 3 version of the game each with differnt dog species. There is lots of room for this to be a franchise game with other releases. Nintendo has a long history of creating new games and pushing them for years (pokemon anyone).

    Traffic stats have been great.
    http://www.nintendog.com/webstat

The site is very targetted and it's only about 2 months old. However I have it indexed very well at Google with 530 pages indexed already.

    http://www.google.com/search?client...intendog.com&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

It comes with a phpbb forums which is my custom modified forums which has an incredible amount of great hacks including subscriptions (not active), lottery, cash mod, inactive users, and too many to really list. Take a look yourself. Of course forums are indexed and search engine friendly URLs.

    http://www.nintendog.com/forums/
Forum has 1400 posts already and about 90 members. New members sign up daily. The forums layout is a skin I designed and implemented. Buyer will NOT get copyright to the forums skin as I may release it to the phpbb public eventually. However feel good that no one else has that skin and likely it will be some time before I do release it.

The front end design will be the buyers exclusive design and it was custom made for me.

The site is making great revenue. From Amazon I made $60 so far this month and $52 from last month (remember the game didn't come out till late Aug.). I still make sales almost daily from the site at Amazon and it should continue well into xmas. If you add Ebay affiliate and maybe CJ you could do even better. I make Amazon sales from this site on other products besides the game too. From Google I made about $600 from the site so far. It's about $300 per month and it's very consistent. It's about $10 per day.

The site has no PR since the site is about 70 days old. I assume on update it will be about 3-5. I have some good PR inbound links.

I will provide screenshots later tonight and post them in this thread just in case no one wants to take my word for it. :) I just wanted to get the sales going.

I am looking for $xxxx offers and will possibly place a buy it now in the next couple days.

The reason I am selling is simple. CASH..I have $7 in my paypal. I just bought a new house and it's like every time I go into Home Depot my wallet goes crazy! BAH!

Feel free to ask questions or to PM me.

At $350 a month, it's worth atleast around $4,200, at one years worth of income. So don't have the BIN too low!

Well, I guess it is worth what the buyer is willing to pay...

I certainly would not put one years worth of income as a general minimum value though.

The site being relatively new, and presumably with room to grow, might increase value. On the other hand; with the subject matter being a game that was released last month, it is reasonable to assume interest is at a peak now, and that it might very well drop off over time....

That being said; I am interested in the site, and would be interested to see a BIN and/or auction end time posted...

Yeah I know the site is too new to ask for a 1 year income. I might get it but then again I don't expect it unless there is a bidding war. Geir you should just make me an offer. I won't be posting an end time just yet and if you make an offer you just might get the site. I could see selling for $2k-$3k but I can also see this site going for a lot more. I could use the money but I am not desperate. I just know this site is relatively easy to sell and has good value. I did my job and that was to develop it and get it going ..the rest is easy.

I always make rules in my auctions to prevent sniping and to make sure that all bids are accepted. I hate sniping and it's bad for sellers.

I am also interested in the site but the domain name nintendog.com seem very near to the official site nintendogs.com, will this raise a trademark issue? Can someone give an advise on this before the bidding really start.

All I got was that E-mail. They never even got the domain!!! I never saw the thing they wanted me to sign and send back. They never even contacted me after there letter got sent back to them un-opened. I just guessed that they looked at the domain again, saw that it waz down so they didn't do anything else. Luckly I mainly used it to host some Nintendo web pages. I didn't make any money off it. I just registered it cause I thought it would be cool to have the HQ domain for Nintendo!!!! I came up with the hosting idea after geting it. I didn't even charge for the web hosting. I host two peoples domains right now, and I don't even charge a penny for them!!!! *gulp*Prepairs to get bombed with hosting requests.*gulp* er, that'll be $50.00 per meg per minth!!!! I got six domains right now that have Nintendo or a Nintendo trademark in it and they've never even contacted me about those!! I think it was the HQ that set them off. I got my first one in 1996. I know they know about it because they contacted atleast one of my message board users back in the late 90s after they posted links to ROM sites!! They didn't even contact me!!!!

er pze forgive me for high-jacking the thread!!!!!
