Hi guys, I'd like to know how much Search Volume you would need to concider worthwhile to make a site for a specific topic? For example, i've found a topic, its got 17,000 searchs a month (from Overture results), and there are 288,000 results in google, but the top results are all like 1 page sites, or subpages from other sites. (no.1 spot has 125 backlinks) Another problem is all the domain names are taken (which i thought strange based on the search results) How much of a disadvantage would say. www.keyword.cc have to the www.keyword.com or, a closer example, would www.keyword.org.uk -- get picked up just aswell in the US search results as in the uk?
